Hot foil embossing
Heat embossing is carried out using a specially manufactured coining die, which embosses the layered foil on the material which is to be embellished. The embossing elements on the embossing stamp are raised and are heated during the embossing process. By using a powerful embossing press, the material is pressed into the shape of the embossing stamp and this creates the unique relief with its dazzling height and depth.
Hot foil embossing is an embellishment process which is spectacular due to the high colour density. The use of metallic foil in gold and silver is especially popular, no other printing procedure can come close to achieving these effects.
